Fill it
Hold the base and twist the top anticlockwise to open. Fill the 100ml bottle with your chosen oil, refit it under the diffuser head, then turn the head clockwise until it locks.

Set it
Press the power button and choose your intensity. On the models with Bluetooth you can adjust the strength and set a schedule from your phone.

Leave it
A 100ml bottle lasts six to eight weeks with regular daily diffusing. To change scent, wipe the tank and let it run dry for a minute before the next oil.

I’ve only had the diffuser in for a short while, only delivered today, but I’m loving it already. The Hilton fragrance is lovely. I love the fact it is rechargeable for flexibility on its location, and controlled with the app for convenience. I like the timer option which is really useful. It may take a little while to judge how quickly the oil depletes.

I haven't had it long but it seems to do the job. I'll know better after a day or so. The only problem I have is getting the Bluetooth to work.

Does it use water?
No. Sandal Bloom's electric diffusers use cold diffusion, which uses no water and no heat. There is no steam and no hot surface, which is why they are a reassuring choice in homes with children and pets.
How large a space will it cover?
It depends on the model. Elan covers up to 30 m2 (320 sq ft), Solene up to 55 m2 (592 sq ft), Valere up to 100 m2 (1,100 sq ft) and the S5 up to 3,229 sq ft. Each product page states its own coverage.
How often does the oil need replacing?
A single 100ml bottle lasts between six and eight weeks with regular daily diffusing. Lighter use, or a lower intensity setting, will stretch a bottle further.
Can I control how strong the scent is?
Yes, on the models built for it. Valere and the S5 are adjusted by touchscreen or through the Bluetooth app. Elan has three intensity levels and three timer settings.
Which fragrance oils can I use?
Any oil-based fragrance will work, so you are never limited to a single range.
How do I switch between scents?
Wipe any residue from the tank and the surrounding area, then let the diffuser run dry for a minute or so until no more vapour comes through. You can then introduce the next oil without the previous scent lingering.
How loud is it?
They are built for quiet operation. The S5 runs at under 42dB and the Noctra at under 45dB.
What warranty is included?
